They three militants are identified as Paul Laldemloa @ Lala Hmar (35), Commander, S/o LC Hmar (L), Rengkai Manipur; Rualneihlala (25), S/o Tlansiang (L), Lungthulien, PS Parbung Manipur and John Lianhmingthanga @John (27) S/o Vanlalhruaia (L) Rengkai Manipur (presently residing in Sakordai Hmarveng).
Sources said that on the night of 19th March 2015 the three disturbed four locals who were on their way to join community mourning of one Lalremsanga (32) h/o Chawngi, Jeribum village, who died of heart attack the same day. One of the four locals was asked to talk over phone to anyone and the same talked to Tuithaveng Branch YMA President, Pu Seingama, who informed Kolasib Police and the three were arrested in cooperation with the local YMA Branch.
The cadres of HPD (D) had gun-pointed the one whom they disturbed, and even pulled the trigger but it failed, Pu Seingama said. They were also drunk, he said.
As per sources, the three arrested HPC (D) cadres taken to Court the next day and put to District Jail. The three HPC (D) men were also said to have been staying in the Tui\haveng Hebron at the residence of Pu Person (52) S/o Thangliana for about one month.
