NC Hills CEM meets Chief Minister

HAFLONG, June 17 – To discuss the problem of salaries of the council’s normal/inherent sector employees, a team led by the NC Hills Autonomous Council Chief Executive Member, Debojeet Thaosen, comprising chairman Ngamrothang Hmar, Executive Members Laltlansang Hmar and Mohendra Kemprai, and MAC Tulsi Prasad Upadhaya met Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi in Guwahati recently.

Sources told this correspondent that the Chief Minister has asked the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and in-charge of Home and Political Affairs, MGVK Bhanu to expeditiously find a solution to the salary problem faced by the council’s employees. The employees are not getting their salaries for months together.

Thaosen also had a meeting with the Principal Secretary inspiring hope that a permanent solution to the problems faced by the council may now be found.
