Governor Dr Ashwani Kumar in a greeting message said celebration of Kut, a post harvest festival of Kuki-Mizo-Chin community, has now transcended the community to all the people of the NE while expressing hope that Kut 2013 would spread the message of love, peace, harmony and peaceful coexistence among all the ethnic groups of the region.
Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh called upon the people to join hands and work unitedly to bring everlasting peace and prosperity in Manipur by resolving the differences and taking the path of non-violence.
He also wished the Kut festival spreads the message of love, peace and brotherhood amongst all communities living in Manipur.
MPCC President Gaikhangam wished the Kut festival heralds the era of love, brotherhood, peaceful coexistence amongst all communities in the State.
President of the State unit of NPF, Soso Lorho has also greeted the people on the occasion of Kut festival and prayed that the festival usher in peace and harmony amongst the people.
