The observation function organised by the TS Gangte Memorial Trust was held at Nupi Lal Memorial Complex with professor Gangumei Kamei as chief guest and president of the organizing trust, Dr Priyadarshini presided the function.
Former minister, RV Mingthing and H Thangjom attended as guest of honour.
The observation function was marked by a discussion session on "Peace in Manipur.
In the session prof Ksh Bimola, department of police science, MU talked on peace and politics of democracy and former president of the Manipur College L Sadananda on spirituality of peace.
Dr TS Gangte, the founder of the Churachandpur College held the post of director of higher education and was an active member of the Senior Citizens Manipur.
He also wrote four books.
