Churachandpur, June 20 : The National Trade Fair organised at YPA Gen Headquarters hall by the North East Trade Fair Association, NETFA, in collaboration with the Young Paite Association is the main centre of attention in Churachandpur. True to its theme “Health, Unity and Prosperity” the fair gives special focus on health and for that matter opened two health stalls and with other 38 stalls it has opened there are 40 stalls altogether.
At the two health stalls, doctors are conducting medical check up and full body checking free of cost each day, while the requisite medicines prescribed by doctors are deposited at the medical stalls.
While talking to the president of NEFTA, Dinesh Kumar, the items have been pooled from countries like Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Belgium, Turkey and many other countries including the USA.
He said the fair was organised at various parts of the North East like in Itanagar, Tura, Kohima, Kakching and many times at Imphal while adding soon after completion of the Churachandpur round it will be done at Aizawl.
The fair will continue till the 29th of this month.
In yet another development, the famed Mizoram boxer Mampuia, 19, son of Lalthupui was felicitated at his native place today at Saikot in the village Community Hall.
He is presently staying at Ramthar Veng, Aizawl and earned a name at the LPS Pro-Fighter Light Weight competition held for the whole of Mizoram from May 20 to June 9.
He won a gold medal between the categories of 60 to 65 kgs.
