Delhi: Gangrape victim was earlier forced into prostitution
In yet another case of violence against women in the capital, a 19-year-old Nepalese woman was gangraped by six men in south Delhi’s Mehrauli area on Monday.
A medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape and she is being treated at the All India Institute for Medical Sciences.
In her complaint to the police, the victim claimed that she was forced into prostitution by a couple that brought her to Delhi under the pretext of better job opportunities.
She was sent to a client’s house on Sunday, where she was gangraped after being forced to consume alcohol.
