Jubilant said it had gathered 16 line kilometres of data as part of its first season of seismic acquisition over the block before the start of seasonal rains.
The shoot was carried out ahead of the main survey were the company intends to gather 586 line kilometres over the Northern Manipur Block and 432 line kilometres over the Southern Manipur Block.
The main survey is scheduled to commence during the next dry season sometime after October this year.
The company must gather a minimum of 1000 line kilometres over both blocks by November 2014 as part of the minimum work programme commitment.
Jubilant holds a 100% interest in both the Northern and Southern Manipur Blocks.
