Prayer for revoking the State Govt., transfer/posting order
No.25/06/2010-IAS/DP, 28th June
2011 of the Tipaimukh Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Shri John Tlangtinkhuma IAS
from the post of SDO/BDO, Parbung to that of SDO, Jessami, Ukhrul District –
Regarding.
Respected
Sir,
As you
are aware that the far flung interior Hill area of Tipaimukh Sub-Divisional
Revenue circle had been devoid of many basic Government Welfare Scheme like
Health and Family Welfare, Drinking Water Supply, Electricity, Banking, Educational
functioning, etc., the villagers in general were very much optimistic and
overjoyed over the recent posting of a Direct Recruit IAS officer namely Shri
John Tlangtinkhuma as SDO/BDO a month ago. However, the villagers overjoyed in
this regard has been shorten to oblivion with the news of the said officer's
fresh transfer order vide Govt. of Manipur, Dept. of Personnel and
Administrative Reforms (Personnel Division) dated 28th June, 2011 stating therein state that
Shri John Tlangtinkhuma IAS has been transferred and posted as the SDO,
Jessami, Ukhrul District.
The
unilateral and unrealistic state govt.'s approach to such transfer order
agaisnt the said officer has only conveyed a strong message with all negative
implication to the people of Tipaimukh that the Govt. of Manipur fight against
poverty and hardship only shows ignorance to the plight of the hill people, if
not, feigning ignorance completely to the reality of rural development
programmed in the Tipaimukh Sub-Divisional Revenue Circle, where young and
enthusiastic bright officer are the need of the hour for this area.
It may
be mentioned here that since the last 15 years or so Shri John Tlangtinkhuma
IAS is the only willing officer so far who wish to be stationed at Parbung
Village itself upon his posting as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Tipaimukh.
It may
be stated furthermore that the said officer, who is hailing from the district
itself, has an added advantage of communicating in the local language easily
which would help in implementing all kinds of Government Welfare Scheme very
speedily.
We look
forward to your kind favour in considering this humble prayer and take a
humanistic approach to consider the aforesaidmentioned State Govt.'s transfer
order in respect of Shri John Tlangtinkhuma IAS to Jessami and re-posted him as
the Tipaimukh Sub-Divisional Circle Officer in the interest of the local
people.
Thanking
you in anticipation.
Yours
sincerely.
