The Career guidance programme encompassed a wide range of issues pertaining to career and its various options and besides enlightening the young minds on the various job avenues which still remain little-known to the new generation of career novices.
The resource persons were G.K. Chin Khaute, IP & TAFS, Controller of Communication and Accounts, Lamsei Baite, IFS, PCDS, NERCORMP and SK Hansing, Dy. Manager, New India Assurance Company Ltd.
“Organising this career guidance has greatly benefited the budding youth and will go a long way in alleviating their unmanageable problem and discombobulate they often encounter at the time of choosing their career,” asserted GK Chin Khaute.
Students should have a firm conviction on the choice they make during this crucial moment while pursuing their dreams. SK Hanshing Resource Speaker, while speaking on the subject ‘Importance of Literature in our Society’ reiterated, “Vaiphei literature has been for long in incognito, therefore one should act as the machinery impetus for promoting it to a larger extent beyond the boundary line.”
“The role of youth in community development is undeniably essential,” asserted Lamsei Baite while delivering a speech on ‘The Role of Youth in Community Development’.
To sum up concisely, besides the three dynamic presentations which engaged the students in their career exploration process causing them to become active participants, the cultural troupe showcasing their dainty cultural dance which was part of the fabric throughout the event was something worth remembering.
