New Delhi, Mar 12 : A Parliamentary panel has asked the Tribal Affairs ministry to improve the delivery system in the states affected by Left-wing extremism. A report tabled in Parliament on Friday has also asked the Ministry to constitute a coordinating committee within three months to improve the delivery system.The panel has criticised the Centre for not pulling up the State Governments who have failed to fulfill their obligations to the tribals and to adequately monitor and coordinate the efforts of other central ministries.
AIR correspondent reports the Government has already constituted a working group on the tribal development to address their concerns in a holistic manner and undertaken several administrative and legislative measures to improve their lot.
