ATSUM blockade called off

Churachandpur, Mar 25 : The proposed economic blockade of All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur (ATSUM) which is scheduled to begin from today midnight has been called off in view of the ensuing High School Leaving Certificate Examination and the ongoing Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate Examination in the state.

The declaration has been made today during a press conference of ATSUM held at the office of Churachandpur District Students’ Union (CDSU) by the spokesman of the union Joseph Hmar.

The ATSUM has taken the decision in due consideration of the students and it will launch stern agitations till the demands are fulfilled.
