Churachandpur, January 26 : Months long Kuki Idol song competiton which started from December 8 2009, the biggest song competition of Kukis in the North East for the year 2009-2010, was held to day at D.Phailen community hall with much enthusiasm.
The semi finalist are contestant No-14 Hoineng Touthang of Janglenphai village Churachanpur, contestant No-18 Houneo Touthang of Ne w Lambulane,Imphal, contestant No-44 Shokhopao of Molnom village, Chandel Dist, contestant No-56 MS Lienna Kuki of Mollen village, Sadar Hills,contestant No-62 Mamang Kipgen of Haipi village,Sadar Hills, Jack Jamgoulen Lhungdim of D.Phailen,Churachandpur,LR Ruata Kohreng of Darchoi, Tripura, Lamminlen Chongloi of L.Munlui, Shei Haokip of Khengjang village Churachandpurand contestant No-106 Thangtinlen Haokip of Leisan village Chandel Dist were selected by the judges today.
The final round of the song competition will be held on January 27 at Royal Academy compound D.Phailen in which Mangboi, social worker, Thiena, social worker and Helien Kipgen, social worker will be gracing the closing function and prize distribution as Chief Guest, Guest of honour and President respectively.
The final round and prize distribution will witness the participation of Kuki Artiste Progressive Union(KAPU) previous Kuki Idol top-10 Kuki Gospel Ariste Assn(KUGAA) and Pu Maneithangza Mang Kipgen and party, Nagland Icon winner.
The programme will be compered s by Miss Boicy Chongloi Miss LABELA and Boinu Gangte.
Opening prayer will be administered by Dr.Lunkhohao Haokip Founder Agape Christian Mesuem Centre(ACMC).
